Santosh Salvi has been a resident of Nashua since 1997. A successful serial entrepreneur, he is deeply committed to giving back to the community. Alongside his roles as a dedicated husband and father, he has consistently found time for social work. Over the past 20+ years, Santosh has served in various capacities, including Sunday school teacher, community president, provider for the homeless, and temple volunteer.
He began his career as a software engineer, working with Fortune 500 companies for many years. In July 2008, during the financial crisis, he was laid off from a major financial investment company in New Hampshire. However, he overcame this challenging situation by establishing his own software company, Unique System Skills LLC.
Santosh invested the profits from his company into creating a licensed technical institute to help the local workforce enhance their technical skills, ensuring they could remain competitive in the job market after experiencing layoffs. Alongside his regular job, he ventured into real estate, acquiring several multi-family apartment buildings in Nashua. His passion for helping others extended to his tenants, whom he supported by leveraging his network to find them jobs during challenging times. He even hired some of his tenants with manufacturing backgrounds, guided them to complete their college degrees, and transition into good corporate jobs or start their own businesses.
In addition to his professional endeavors, Santosh leads a community project involving 40 local families who have been preparing and serving dinner at the Nashua Soup Kitchen weekly for the past three years.
