Santosh has proudly called Nashua home since 1997, bringing with him a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to his community. Starting his career as a software engineer with Fortune 500 companies, Santosh understands the challenges faced by working families firsthand.
During the 2008 financial crisis, Santosh was laid off from a major financial investment company. Undeterred, he seized this moment to found Unique System Skills LLC, a testament to his resilience and entrepreneurial spirit.
Santosh reinvested his company's success into creating a licensed technical institute, empowering local workers to upgrade their skills and stay competitive in a rapidly evolving economy.
A dedicated advocate for community support, Santosh has acquired and managed multi-family properties in Nashua. Through his network, he has connected tenants with job opportunities, helping them transition to new careers or start their own businesses.
For over three years, Santosh has led a community initiative, preparing and serving meals at the Nashua Soup Kitchen. His commitment to service exemplifies his dedication to making a tangible difference in people's lives.
Santosh cherishes his 33-year marriage to Shweta, a program manager at a medical device company. Their children, a sustainability professional and a doctor, reflect his commitment to family values and community service.
Hello, I’m Santosh Salvi, a proud Nashua resident since 1997, a father of two children who graduated from Nashua’s public schools, and a passionate advocate for education and community service.
As the founder of a local education institute that has trained over 2,000 working professionals, I’ve witnessed firsthand how transformative education can be. Over more than 20 years, I’ve volunteered, mentored, and participated in community organizations and initiatives across Nashua—from teaching and mentoring to serving at the Soup Kitchen—all with one purpose: to help residents thrive and reach their full potential.
Public education opened doors for me and my family, shaping the course of our lives. Now, I want to make sure every student in Nashua has access to that same opportunities.
I’m running for the Nashua School Board because I believe:
Prepare students for real-world careers through technical training, internships, and partnerships with local businesses.
Make sure all students, no matter their background, have equal opportunities.
Collaborate with parents, businesses, and local to build a strong foundation for student success.
Provide flexibility, resources, and respect so teachers to thrive and inspire.
Ensure every dollar is spent wisely and that Nashua schools get the resources they deserve.
